THE PUBLICATION

What supports a contact listing

A number is useful only when its source, department and scope are clear.

01

Follow the evidence

We prefer information published by the company itself. Where a public airport directory or an indexed official page supplied evidence, that narrower source or method remains part of the record. A listing is not a claim that a telephone was called and tested.

02

A new page is not a new contact check

Source-review dates belong to the contact evidence. Rewriting a guide or changing its design does not renew those dates. Confirming a number alone is recorded separately from checking the complete department, hours and policy information.

03

Keep departments separate

Baggage, reservations, ticket refunds and the status of an existing request are distinct purposes. A general telephone shown alongside refund guidance remains a general telephone. Specialist labels are used only when supported by their source.

04

State what is missing

We leave gaps rather than invent a number, rating, opening time or expected wait. When a new retrieval is unsuccessful, earlier evidence keeps its date and limitation. Readers can check the linked provider source for information that may have changed.

05

Identification and corrections

Logos identify the business being discussed; a written name remains when no suitable image is available. Reader-posted numbers are not treated as verified contacts. A correction needs evidence that can be compared with the original record.
